About ItsaPDF

ItsaPDF is a collection of free PDF tools built around one idea: your files shouldn't have to leave your device just to be merged, split, or converted. Every tool on this site — merging, splitting, rotating, organizing pages, and converting between PDFs and images — runs entirely inside your web browser.

Why browser-based?

There's no upload step because there's no server-side file processing to upload to. When you add a file to a tool, it's read directly into your browser's memory, processed there using your device's own processing power, and offered back to you as a direct download. Nothing about the file content is transmitted anywhere in between.

Built with open-source software

ItsaPDF is built with Astro, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Preact, and relies on open-source PDF libraries including PDF.js and pdf-lib to read and generate PDF files locally in the browser. We're grateful to the maintainers of these projects.

What ItsaPDF is not

ItsaPDF doesn't require an account, doesn't store your files, and doesn't impose artificial daily task limits. Processing capacity depends on your device, browser, file size, and page count — not on any cap we've set.
