How browser-based processing works here
Your PDF opens locally in your browser, and the date is resolved and drawn directly onto the page using your device's own local time and processing. The resulting file is generated on your device — no file content is sent anywhere.

- No database or server-side file storage
- Output is generated locally as a browser Blob file
Supported files: Standard, non-encrypted PDF files. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs aren't currently supported.
Honest limitations
- Only a standard Helvetica font is used — accented Latin characters work, but Arabic, CJK, Cyrillic, and emoji aren't supported in a manual text label.
- Dates are always resolved and displayed using your browser's local timezone, not converted to UTC.
- No automatic date-range or expiry calculation — this stamps a single, fixed date value, not a countdown.
- Page count, order, dimensions, rotation, and existing content carry over unchanged.
No artificial daily task limits. Processing capacity depends on your device, browser, file size, and page count.
Troubleshooting
The date is one day off from what I expected
A custom date (without a time) is treated as that exact calendar date in your local timezone — it's never silently converted to UTC, which is what causes the classic one-day-off bug elsewhere. Double-check the resolved date shown in the preview before converting.
My custom text contains characters that won't convert
The built-in font only supports Latin/Western-European characters. Remove or replace the unsupported characters shown in the warning.
The date format doesn't match what I need
Pick from the 7 built-in formats, or switch to "Custom text" mode and type the exact label you want.
