How browser-based processing works here
Your PDF opens locally in your browser, and the text you type is drawn directly onto the page using your device's own processing. The resulting file is generated on your device — no file content is sent anywhere.

- No database or server-side file storage
- Output is generated locally as a browser Blob file
Supported files: Standard, non-encrypted PDF files. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs aren't currently supported.
Honest limitations
- Only a standard Helvetica font is used for the added text — it won't match custom fonts already used in your document, and characters outside Latin/Western-European script (e.g. Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic, emoji) aren't supported; you'll see exactly which characters to remove before converting.
- Text doesn't auto-wrap — long lines stay on one line unless you add your own line breaks.
- Existing content on the page isn't edited — your text is drawn as a new layer on top of the page.
- Page count, page order, dimensions, rotation, document metadata, and existing form fields carry over unchanged.
No artificial daily task limits. Processing capacity depends on your device, browser, file size, and page count.
Troubleshooting
My text contains characters that won't convert
The built-in font only supports Latin/Western-European characters. Remove or replace the unsupported characters shown in the warning, then try again.
The text is hard to read against the page
Turn on the background box option and pick a background color that contrasts with your text color.
The text isn't exactly where I want it
Pick a different anchor position, then fine-tune with the custom X/Y offset for pixel-level control.

Can I rotate the text?
Yes, enter any rotation angle in degrees — not just 90-degree steps.
Can I add a background box behind the text?
Yes, there's an optional background box with its own color, opacity, and padding.
Does this work with non-English text?
It supports Latin and Western-European characters (including accented letters). Arabic, CJK, Cyrillic, and similar scripts aren't currently supported — you'll be told exactly which characters to remove.
